American 1850 Antebellum Sofa

We wrapped this in pads, and then shrink-wrapped it. Normally you can stand sofas on their end against the wall of the truck, but not this kind. We kept it on its feet, even though it took up more space.

The Unpadding of an 1800s Glass Cabinet

The attorney customer bought this at an auction.   The glass has that telltale, fuzzy look of the original, very old glass.   We completely wrapped it in pads, and taped the pads together.  Then we taped cardboard over the front to protect the glass.  Frequently the customer has one piece they are especially fond of, and has special monetary and/or sentimental value.   Mover call these the “Million Dollar Pieces.”

Unpadded and in Place in the Living Room. "Okay, this piece will not fit every type of decor!"
